Spartak Moscow have looked like the best team in the EuroLeague Women thus far in the season and a convincing 77-46 win provided further proof of that.

The Russian-based side improved to 6-0 with all of the wins coming by double-digit margins.

Sandra Valuzyte (TEO Vilnius)
Sandra Valuzyte scored 18 points for TEO.
There was little suspense in their most recent display.

With the game tied at 14, Spartak went on a 10-2 run to close the first quarter with a 24-16 lead.

Taj McWilliams' basket inside of a minute to play in the second quarter allowed Spartak to go into intermission with a 37-23 advantage.

Spartak delivered the knockout blow with a 18-4 run to start the second half.

Agnieszka Bibrzycka started the second half with a three-pointer.

Svetlana Abrosimova and Tina Thompson combined for 11 points during the stretch.

Spartak continued to pour it on in the second half and a three-pointer from Abrosimova with 3:36 to go in the fourth pushed the lead to 75-45.

Thompson finished with a game-high 19 points, while Abrosimova added 15.

Another key to Spartak’s victory was their defense on Katie Douglas, the 2005-2006 EuroLeague top scorer.

The high-scoring guard with limited to 12 points on 5-of-20 shooting from the field.

Sandra Valuzyte had 18 points for TEO, which dropped to 3-3 on the season.
