Famila Basket continued their miserable form in the EuroLeague Women after crashing to a 66-46 defeat at home to TEO Vilnius.

The victory moves TEO up to third place in Group A with a 4-3 record, while Schio-based Famila Basket remain bottom of the pile on 0-7.

The Lithuanian-based squad got off to a great start in the first quarter, amassing an 16-8 lead when Sandra Valuzyte's two-point jump shot found the target.

A brief recovery saw the hosts recover to 16-13 at the end of the first period but normal service was resumed in the second, as TEO walked in at the interval with a 10-point advantage, 37-27.

The visitors stretched their legs in the third quarter, with a 10-0 run midway through the period putting the game to bed.

A miserly final quarter saw Famila Basket add a mere nine points to their total, while TEO, their foot very much off the gas, limited themselves to 15.

Both sides were guilty of long-range profligacy in a low-scoring encounter, the hosts completing just two of 14 (14.3%) three-point attempts while the Lithuanians managed two of 15 (13.3%) from beyond the arc.

TEO's Jurgita Streimikyte was the stand-out performer on a night of mediocrity, her 21 points, five rebounds and two assists in stark contrast to the overall quality of the game.

Valuzyte added 14 and Katie Douglas 11, while the Italians had Gordana Kovacevic's 12 points to thank for giving the scoreline a whiff of respectability.
