Katie Douglas returned to the line-up for TEO Vilnius and helped her side to a 71-65 win over Famila Basket in a EuroLeague Women Group A match.

Douglas, the top scorer in the EuroLeague Women a year ago, suffered a foot injury in the WNBA playoffs which ended her season.

Katie Douglas (TEO Vilnius)
Katie Douglas scored 11 points for TEO.
She also was unavailable in TEO's first EuroLeague game, but made her presence known in her season debut by scoring 11 points to go along with four assists and four steals as her team picked up their first win.

The American was particularly instrumental in the second quarter when TEO took control of the game.

Her three midway through the second started a 12-4 TEO run to open up a 32-24 lead for the Lithuanian outfit.

Schio got to within six towards the end of the first half, but another Douglas three made the score 38-29 go into intermission.

From there, TEO would hold a double-digit lead for most of the second half to claim the win.

Rima Valentiene and Egle Sluciute both managed 15 points for the victors while Ebony Hoffman added nine rebounds to her tally of 10.

Katja Munck poured in a game-high 19 points for the losers.

Schio had come into the match on the back of a defeat at the hands of French outfit USO Mondeville and a domestic loss to Parma.

Once again, they had to play without the services of Australian star Penny Taylor, who is still recovering from a hand injury.
