The American guard had a game-high 24 points in Tuesday's 79-66 loss in the opening game, but on Friday her 21 points helped Lietuvos stay ahead of MiZo in a tight encounter.

Douglas got to work early with eight points in the opening seven minutes as Lietuvos got their noses in front but after Dalma Ivanyi sank a three-pointer with four seconds remaining, it was MiZo who were ahead at the end of the first quarter, 23-21.

Two free throws from Zsofia Fegyverneky extended their advantage to six points early in the second, but Lietuvos then came back as MiZo hit shooting troubles.

With 46 seconds left in the first half, Douglas made a free throw to put Lietuvos 36-35 ahead and they would lead all the way from there.

Douglas' shot was the start of an 11-4 run for Lietuvos which extended into the second half and began to take the game away from the visitors.

MiZo would get within two points late in the third quarter before Lietuvos put the game away with a dominant fourth quarter.

Douglas got help from Jurgita Streimikyte (15) and Irena Baranauskaite (14) while Sandra Valuzyte had seven rebounds to go with her 14 points.

Anna Vajda, who was such a key part of MiZo's victory in the opening game, was held to six points, leaving American Vickie Johnson to pick up the slack for the visitors.

She had 16 points while Ivanyi added 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
