PLAYER HISTORY
Manuela Zanon

Career: Robbiano (Italy-A2, 1998-99), Varese (Italy-A1, 1999-2000), Treviglio (Italy-A1, 2000-01), Napoli (Italy-A2, 2001-2003),  Schio (Italy-A1, 2003-04), Taranto (Italy-A1, 2004-05), Ribera (Italy-A1, 2005-07)

Daughter of ex-European boxing champion Lorenzo Zanon, Zanon has inherited her fathers physical power. The 27-year-old has been working hard for the last few years to be able to play some small forward. She suffers on defense against quick players, but her personality is such that her reaction is to become more aggressive. Zanon is a good rebounder who began her National Team career in 2001. She represents an alternative to the small and power forward positions, especially against opponents of greater physical strength.
