Sviatlana Kudrashova - EuroBasket Women 2015 Profile

Kudrashova is a gem who was unearthed by Coach Buyalski. Raised within the Grodno youth system which is renowned as perhaps the most productive and effective of its type in Belarus, she tried to initially pave her way into basketball with the help of her native club ‘Olimpia' but despite her efforts, the point guard stayed in the shadow of more senior players who defined the club's style. Only after getting call-ups for the national team by Buyalski and later, by transferring to BC Horizont, did she gain deserved recognition. An unselfish playmaker with nice ball-handling skills and a subtle sense of passing, she doesn't care about the stature of any opponent. She is also a dangerous shooter and back after maternity leave, she's ready to fight for a place in the starting line-up of her national team.
