Beka is the cousin of Zaza Pachulia and has the same features of diligence, stamina and hardworking attitude to achieve his goals. He has the same impressive physical skills too. For these reasons he was often regarded as a top youth prospect. Beka was 14 when he was in the U16 national team, was 16 when played for the U18 national team and at the age of 18 was called to the national team. Beka missed the U20 European Championship because of an injury, but has already been playing in Spain for four seasons with one of the best youth programs in the country at Cajasol. Already at the age of 17 Burjanadze made his ACB debut with the senior team, and being the youngest player on the Georgian national team is another example of just how big of a prospect he is projected to be for his home country.
