This 23-year-old will be looking to play in her first EuroBasket Women tournament having taken part in the FIBA World Championship Women last year. Having come through the youth categories as one of the most prominent players, particularly when she averaged over 15 points per game in Italy during the summer of 2008 at the U20 European Championship Women, she has developed into a real performer at the professional level. So much so that she was the top scorer in EuroCup Women last season with BC Horizont which could possibly persuade Coach Buyalski to increase her minutes with the National Team. Athletic and always involved in the game by doing something on or off the ball, her infectious energy means Likhtarovich could be an important players for Belarus over the next few years. She has already played at the Olympics for her country while at club level she remains a prolific scorer, something Belarus will be hoping she can bring to the International stage.
