Belarus booked their place in the final four of the EuroBasket 2015 1st Qualification Round after cruising to a 114-73 success over the Slovak Republic in Minsk on Friday.

With Hungary already eliminated and these teams locked on 2-1 records this was the Group D decider.

But there was little doubt which team would progress as Belarus avenged their earlier 97-85 defeat in Slovak Republic with a comfortable wire-to-wire win at home.

Belarus burst out of the blocks to an 8-0 start behind some aggressive play that saw Mikita Meshcharakou and Aliaksandr Kudrautsau score off drives to the basket.

The Slovaks responded, rallied by a couple of three-point shots from Martin Bilik but still trailed 31-21 at the end of the quarter.

The hosts continued to control the rest of the half, sharing the ball and getting some good looks at the basket to stretch the advantage to 65-42 at the break.

The third quarter was the most one-sided of the game as Belarus outscored the Slovaks 29-11 while adding some more outside shooting to their attack, on their way to finishing with 15 made three-pointers.

The lead continued to grow as the game approached its climax, reaching 45 in the final two minutes, and Belarus small forward Aliaksei Trastsinetski tallied a game-high 21 points as five teammates scored in double figures while Bilk led the Slovak Republic with 18.
