Yulia Poluyanova had 18 points and was just one of two Russians finishing in double figures.
France were superior shooting the ball.

They finished 29 of 60 (48.3%) from the floor and missed just one of their 10 free throws.

Russia were 17 of 48 (35.4%) and made 15 of 24 (62.5%) from the charity stripe.

France outrebounded Russia 37-28.

Despite suffering their second consecutive defeat, Russia will join France in the next round having finished third in the group.

Ukraine secured the second spot in the group with an 83-62 win over
Slovakia.

Olesya Malshenko poured in 23 points and hauled in 14 rebounds for the victors.

But it was not a one-woman show, with Alina Iagupova having a game-high 26 points and Olha Maznichenko adding 21 for Ukraine.

Slovakia trailed 41-32 at the break before their opponents stepped up the tempo and outscored them 29-11 over the next 10 minutes en route to victory.

There was little Slovakia could do with Ukraine shooting 28 of 48 (58.3%) from inside the arc.
The result leaves winless Slovakia to play in the Classification Round.
