Domercant Helps Bosnia-Herzegovina To Win

Henry Domercant, the Turkish-based professional who recently received citizenship in Bosnia-Herzegovina and now plays for the national basketball team, led his team to an 87-74 triumph over Ukraine on Saturday in the Torneo Comunidad Valenciana.

Both Ukraine and Bosnia-Herzegovina are warming up for EuroBasket 2005, which tips off in Serbia & Montenegro on September 16, and Domercant will be a pivotal player for Mensur Bajramovic.

A star with Turkish champions Efes Pilsen, Domercant was seven of 16 from the field, including two of four from behind the arc, and finished with 19 points.

Jasmin Hukic also had 15 points and Damir Mrsic 14 for the winners, while Ukraine got 18 points from center Serhiy Lishchuk.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Stanislav Medvedenko played 20 minutes and had 15 points for the Ukrainians, who led 42-39 at half-time and 64-63 after three quarters before being outscored 24-10 over the final 10 minutes.
