After a stunning youth career for her country when she racked up some huge scores with a string of stellar tournaments, it was only a matter of time before Maznichenko was taken from Ukrainian basketball and to another league. After previously dabbling with short experiences in Spain, France and Israel, the forward has just completed her first full season in Italian basketball, something which she has already described as a great experience. She signed off with 27 points against EuroLeague Women side and Italian champions Famila Schio, to show the progress she is making and the talent which previously shone brightly at youth level. Her scoring ability relies not only on inside production, but also a nice trademark mid-range shot from the elbow, along with the capacity to run the floor. Her mobility remains very impressive and is one of her key assets, which was underlined by being chosen to represent Ukraine at the 3x3 World Championship.
