This one was never really close. Spain jumped out from the opening whistle and Ukraine, despite playing hard, never really threatened to turn the tables on Jordi Fernández's team.
Spain opened Group A play with a strong 76-50 win over rival Turkey.
Spain coach Jordi Fernández had said during the run-up to the tournament that Turkey never let you "play comfortably", and this turned out to the case, at least for the first two-and-a-half quarters.
