The 22-year-old Denys Lukashov is an all-action guard who will never die wondering on the court. Everything he does is with a real sense of purpose and after last summer when he made an impression with the senior team, Ukraine may have found a useful player to call upon. A Superleague All Star in his homeland, Lukashov is capable of scoring in bunches, and is generally fearless in that regard both inside and out. During qualification last summer he also showed he has good court vision with 3 assists per game and most impressively of all, because of his size and determination, he is an excellent rebounder for a guard. No better underlined than when he averaged 4 rebounds per game last summer. In addition to the senior team experience, he has played in EuroChallenge and Eurocup, and will provide Coach Fratello with a solid floor general who takes good care of the ball. |
