Playmaker Andja Jelavic has warned fans of Wisla Can Pack it is far too early to be thinking of securing back to back places at the EuroLeague Women Final Four.
Speaking to the club's website, the Croatian also admitted the team now need to re-charge their batteries after a fruitful but exhausting trip to Orenburg which despite a slow start, still netted them a 2-0 series win and a place in the Quarter-Final Play-offs.
"It's too early to think about the Final Four. We need to go step by step, concentrating on the next game."
"Of course, we will be resting now. We won't celebrate much, but we are happy and we will probably make some small celebration. It's a big success that we made it 2-0. Especially in their court since it was really tough."
"We showed character, coming back to win the game. We were a real team. Everyone wanted that win - on the court and also on the bench "
At the beginning it was very hard. I can't say that there was pressure on us because we were leading 1-0. Maybe we wanted to win so badly and fast at the beginning, but it can't be like that in the basketball.
"Our role is to play for forty minutes. We won, because we believed we could win there."
"I can't say it was a surprise for us that we won. We expected it. We went there to win and we did it."
"Everyone is happy. We need to prepare for games in the Polish league and after that of course for Salamanca, but now we are simply really, really happy."
