A shooting guard who is at her happiest coming off screens from here she can shoot the three or drive to the hoop, Cakic is an experienced member of the Croatian National Team. However, she missed the cut for EuroBasket Women 2007 and so if selected this time, she will be playing at her first major tournament at senior level. In 2003, she represented Croatia at the FIBA U21 World Championship Women. She has a good track record playing in EuroCup and EuroLeague Women in the last three seasons with Jolly Sibenik, being one of the most productive players on the roster. She is also capable of taking over the playmaker roll if required and contributed in all but one game last summer during the Qualifying Round.
