Croatia: Kovac Confident Of Qualifying

Croatia women's coach Viktor Kovac is confident his team can win in Ukraine on Wednesday to keep their hopes of qualifying for the European Championships alive.

Croatia's outstanding defence helped them earn a 75-60 victory over Latvia on Saturday, lifting them to third in Group B.

Puzar: We Can Still Qualify

Croatia's Ivana Puzar believes her side can still qualify for the European Championships despite a disappointing start to their qualifying campaign.

Croatia paid for a poor shooting display as they suffered an unexpected 80-61 defeat in their first game against Latvia, but they bounced back to beat Ukraine 80-68 on Saturday.

Croatia: Kovac Stunned By Poor Showing

Croatia's women's coach Viktor Kovac was left dumbfounded by his team's below-par start to the European Championship qualifying campaign.

The Croatians went down 80-61 in Riga against Latvia in their opening Group B encounter on Wednesday.

Croatia captain Katarina Maloca is confident her side can earn the results needed to secure qualification for next year's European Championships.
