Ivan Tomas

Career: Olimpija Slavonka Osijek (Croatia-First Division, 1998-1999), KK Zagreb (Croatia, 1999-2005), Lietuvos rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-LKL, 2005-…).

Until his younger brother Marko exploded last season, Ivan Tomas was KK Zagreb’s best player for many years. A left handed playmaker, quick, good ball handler, passer, scorer and shooter, he was ranked among the top talents of his country. Unfortunately, he had Popovic and Planinic as his direct rivals, so he wasn't considered a top level prospect at his position. Nevertheless, Ivan has had a decent career and his skills were good enough to convince the Lithuanians from Lietuvos rytas to entrust him the command of their team. Tomas grew up with the juniors of his home time Koprivnica. He has been a pillar for Zagreb for six years and played at the 2004 and 2005 Croatian All Star Game.
