Cenk Akyol and Ersan Ilyasova each scored 18 points as Turkey beat Croatia 91-72 to go top of Group F in the quarter-final round at the OSTCHEM U-20 European Championships.
With their home fans cheering them on, Turkey never trailed and pulled away in the first quarter. Croatia trailed 8-6 with 6:58 gone, but Ilyasova scored 10 points as the Turks went on a 20-5 run for a 28-13 lead after 10 minutes. |

With star center Tadija Dragicevic again watching from the sidelines having failed to overcome a leg injury sustained at the Global Games in Dallas last month, the Serbo-Montenegrins led for much of the contest and cemented their superiority in the third quarter, winning it 23-16. |
