Andric blossomed almost out of nowhere, shortly after turning 20 and playing Euroleague for then perennial Croatian champions Cibona Zagreb. He waited until the EuroBasket 2007 Qualifying Round to make his national team debut, but did not play at a major tournament until the 2010 FIBA World Championship. Andric brings great value to the team, whether in a starting role, or off the bench. He always finds ways to be productive, rebounds well, and finishes with great field-goal-percentages. When playing for Croatia, Andric has a remarkable 62% career shooting average from the two-point range, getting the most out of his minutes. Earlier in his career, Andric was a threat from behind the arc as well and coaches used him paired with other centers. On the down side, he often gets into the foul trouble, preventing him from being more consistent.
