Stipcevic has been on and off the team since he made what was then considered a surprising debut at the 2010 FIBA World Cup. The point guard has been a member of the Croatian National Team ever since and his great competitiveness allowed him to be a reliable back-up on the perimeter in 2012 during the EuroBasket 2013 Qualification Round. However, he missed the past two major tournaments, EuroBasket 2013 due to injury, and was cut as the odd guard out before the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. But none of it has left ill-effect on Stipcevic who has carried a huge workload for his clubs and led three of the last five teams he played for in minutes on the floor. Stipcevic thrives in pick'n'roll situations, where he sets up big men for easy buckets, or finishes them himself with his trademark high-arching three-pointers.
