Montenegro rolled to their 10th straight victory in EuroBasket Women Division B with a 77-62 win at Iceland on Saturday.
Jelena Skerovic had 13 points to lead the Montenegrins, who stormed out to a 19-8 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back.
The Netherlands, Montenegro and Ireland all recorded victories in Group A of EuroBasket Women Division B on Wednesday while Portugal prevailed in their Group B game.
The Dutch got 15 points and eight rebounds from Leonie Kooij and thrashed Iceland, 70-51.
If Slovenia's men will be battling for a place at the Olympics this month, the women's team's aims will not be quite as high as they head into this summer.
Zeljko Ciglar's side will still find the going very tough as they attempt to win promotion back to Division A of the EuroBasket Women by taking on Montenegro, Iceland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Ireland.
Slovenia's women will later this year begin the very difficult process of trying to qualify for Division A again in the EuroBasket after being relegated last summer.
Zeljko Ciglar, Slovenia's national team coach, discovered in Venice recently the opponents his players would have to overcome in Division B.
