The Slovak Republic got their second win in a row, 72-42 versus Lithuania, in the Classification Round for 13th to 16th place.

The Slovaks now look like favorites to clinch 13th or 14th place and avoid relegation to Division B.

The magic trio, Angelika Slamová, Sabina Oroszová and Barbora Balintova carried the Slovak team to victory, combining for 43 points.

Slamová led all scorers with 17 points and added six assists, three steals and three blocks. Oroszova finished with 15 points, while Balintova had 13.

After a balanced first quarter, Slovakia took off in the second and built a 19-point lead at halftime. They didn't slow down and continued to increase their gap until the final buzzer.

Lithuania paid the price for their 29 turnovers, many of them transformed by their opponents into easy baskets.

Greta Tamasauskaite led Lithuania with 10 points, Vita Zilinskaite had 12 rebounds, but missed all of her four shot-attempts and Ieva Preskienyte finished with eight points and six rebounds in the losing effort.
