Lithuania kept their hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive at the Umcor European Championship U18 Women in Tenerife on Wednesday with an 83-60 win against Bulgaria.

After an anaemic shooting display against Sweden on Tuesday (20% from the  field), the Lithuanians rediscovered their touch against Bulgaria, netting 50% from two-point range and 81% from the free throw line.

Sweden's dream start to the Umcor U18 European Championship Women continued on Tuesday as they kept their 100% record alive with a win over Lithuania.

It took Sweden a while to find their rhythm, especially at the offensive end, but a 10-3 run in the closing minutes eventually ended Lithuania's challenge.

France became the first team to book a spot in the quarter-final round after a 65-73 win against Lithuania at the Umcor European Championship U18 Women in Tenerife on Sunday.

Despite the loss, Lithuania also advance to the next round.
