Sandra Linkeviciene
Career: Lietuvos telekomas Vilnius, becoming TEO Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 1998-08), Dynamo Kursk (Russia-SuperLeague, 2009-11)

There is no other player that influences the National Team quite like Sandra Linkeviciene. Much of that is not only due to her all-round talent but also down to her close relationship with Coach Paulauskas who also coaches her at Dynamo Kursk where she plays in the Russian Superleague and in EuroCup Women. Last summer, Linkeviciene was on fire during the Qualifying Round and produced what was arguably the best form of her career while playing for the National Team. Incredibly, she emerged as the leader in scoring, rebounds, assists and steals which showcased the quality of her all-round skill-set with the rebounding prowess in particular underlining her heart and desire to win. This also helped her be crowned Lithuania Female Player Of The Year for the first time. A consistent finisher around the hoop and a nice passer, her versatility on the court is invaluable.
