Marijonas Petravicius - EuroBasket 2011 Profile
Team 2010-11: Armani Jeans Milano (Italy-Lega)
Career: Silute Silute (Lithuania-LKL, 1997-98), South Carolina University (USA-NCAA, 1998-03), Telindus Ostende (Belgium-BBL, 2003-05), Ventspils Venstpils (Latvia-LBL, 2005-06), Lietuvos rytas Vilnius (Lithuania-LKL, 2006-09), Pamesa Valencia (Spain-ACB, 2009), Armani Jeans Milano (Italy-Lega, 2009-11)

Having taken part in his first major tournament at the Olympic Games in 2008, Petravicius was one of the few players to emerge with any credit from the wreckage of the EuroBasket 2009 campaign. In fact, he was the leading scorer on the team and produced consistently strong performances while others around him fluffed their lines. A former MVP of the FIBA Europe Cup and with experience in Euroleague, the center didn't play last summer at the FIBA World Championship but is likely to be back on the roster when EuroBasket 2011 tips off. If back to full fitness after a frustrating and injury-hit season with Milan, he should be fresh and ready to work the boards , provide some muscle in the paint at both ends of the floor and execute the pick and roll to great effect for his team.
