Vidas Ginevicius

Career: Neptunas Klaipeda (Lithuania-LKL. 1999-2001). Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL – 2001-…).

It’s impossible to replace Saras Jasikevicius! Vidas Ginevicius won't. No one can. But he is an adequate replacement. He can set the pace or score, at both guard positions, which he did efficiently last season with Zalgiris Kaunas (6.1ppg, at 45.1%, and 2.6apg in 25 minutes). Offensive-minded, he is a real threat from the outside (49/111 three-pointers in LKL). On any given night, he can take over the offence, like against Barcelona, in the Euroleague, last year (24 points, 8/9FG, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals), and like when he was playing in Klaipeda. In 2000-01, he averaged 19.5ppg in the LKL and was elected Most Improved Player and Domestic Player MVP! Several times an All-Star, he is also a solid defender.
