Lithuania coach Algirdas Paulauskas believes his team has made good progress as they build for next month's EuroBasket Women in Turkey.
Paulauskas has finalised his squad for the tournament and though veteran Jurgita Streimikyte is now officially off the list because of her WNBA commitments with the Indiana Fever in the United States, the Lithuania boss is confident he has plenty of firepower.
Their preparations recently took them to Latvia and on Sunday, the Lithuanians defeated their Baltic neighbours 73-55.
Rima Valentiene poured in 19 points and Iveta Marcauskaite weighed in with 17.
"At this moment I'm satisfied with our team," Paulauskas said.
"The play of our team is getting better. In the tournaments, I've put all the players on the court because in that way, they will have more trust in each other."
Star guards Valentiene and Sandra Valuzyte and center Irena Baranauskaite are in the 12-strong group headed to Istanbul.
Lithuania, who resume their workouts in Kaunas this week, are in EuroBasket Group B with defending champions Russia, as well as Serbia & Montenegro, Spain, Turkey and Romania.
