The Omnitel U16 European Championship Men displayed more than a handful of future stars that in a few years will be known to any European Basketball fan. The five who stood out the most and were named to the All-Tournament team are Guard Nenad Miljenovic (Serbia), Guard Jaime Fernandez (Spain), Forward Tauras Jogela (Lithuania), Forward Gleb Goldyrev (Russia) and Center Przemyslaw Karnowski (Poland). |

After a tough road to the Final Round Lithuania, the hosting team of the Omnitel U16 European Championship Men, qualified to the top four of the championship after a 68-60 win over France. Lithuania is the second 4th seed team to eliminate a Qualifying Round group champion, after Serbia kicked out Russia earlier today. |
