Club Team 2012-13: C.U.S. Chieti (Italy-A1)
Career: Drexel (USA-NCAA, 2008-12), C.U.S. Chieti (Italy-A1, 2012-13)
An exciting and highly rated talent, the first pro-season for Nacickaite ended prematurely when she suffered an ankle injury with C.U.S. Chieti in the Italian League. She had been producing some excellent numbers which is hardly a surprise, considering the buzz which has surrounded her for many years. A real scorer and potential game changer, the player showed during her college career that she is a shot maker and poses a big threat from long-range. She also crashes the glass to good effect and has left some baffled as to how she went undrafted in the WNBA. In terms of the senior national team, the swingman played briefly in qualification for EuroBasket Women 2011 but never got to play in the Final Round. She was given substantial minutes last summer but couldn't find her true shooting touch and endured a slump. But, as with all precocious shooting talent, she could just as easily pour in the points for Lithuania when she takes to the court this year and is a prominent ‘X-Factor' player.
