Lithuania got off to a quick start and never looked back in beating Bulgaria 91-40 in the Qualifying Round at the U18 European Championship Men 2009 in Metz, France.
The win saw Lithuania stay undefeated and top of Group F while Bulgaria dropped to 0-3.
Marius Linartas' men took a 13-3 lead after just 5:30 minutes and led by 21-11 at the end of the first period.
And they pretty much kept adding to that advantage the rest of the way. They were up 41-23 at the break and 69-31 to start the fourth quarter.
That big lead gave Linartas the luxury to sit his starters in the final frame as the reserves finished off the struggling Bulgarians.
Georgi Mladenov's side shot just 14 for 61, including three for 22 from three-point range.
Saulius Kulvietis had a game-high 18 points for Lithuania who shot 36 for 70 including 10 for 23 from beyond the arc.
