Kostas Sloukas led Greece with 16 points and Kostas Papanikolaou hit two free throws and tipped in another missed foul shot over the final 44 seconds to secure the victory for the host Greeks.

Motiejunas MVP, Two Greeks In All-Tournament Team

Lithunia's Donatas Motiejunas was named Most Valuable Player of the U18 European Championship Men despite Lithuania losing in the gold medal game against hosts Greece in Pyrgos.

The 17-year-old Motiejunas scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Lithuania's 57-50 loss to Greece in the final.

Lithuania Destroy France To Get Chance At Gold

Lithuania will get a re-match versus Greece in the final of the U18 European Championship after putting away France 79-55 in Saturday's second semi-final.

France had no answer for the Lithuania interior combination of Donatas Motiejunas, who had 24 points and seven rebounds and Tautvydas Slezas, who added 17 points and nine rebounds.
