Liene Priede has yet to represent her country at senior level but has enjoyed success with the National Team through the various youth categories with some strong and influential performances. In 2006 she helped her team achieve a silver medal at the U16 European Championship Women Division B while she also contributed to the U20 team racking up back-to-back bronze medals for the last two summers in Division A. Priede is essentially a small forward who can also play the shooting guard position since she is happy ripping off screens and draining triples. Her three-point threat is significant and could be a real option for Coach Dikeoulakos. Priede has also enjoyed a good start to her college career in Kansas with Independence CC. |
