Career: Klondaika Riga(Latvia-LSBL, 2007-08), RTU-Merks Riga (Latvia-LSBL- 2008-09), TTT Riga (Latvia-LSBL- 2009), Jefferson (USA-NJCAA, 2010-11)
Anete Klintsone is an exciting prospect, and having won a number of medals with the National Team at youth level where she was captain of the U16, U18 and U20 teams, she will be hoping to be handed the opportunity to get some court time with the seniors. She has had a strong season at Jefferson College and has been featured in the NJCAA performances of the week. Not only can she shoot the ball impressively from downtown, she also has other qualities such as her ability to dish out assists, get the odd rebound and do damage from the free-throw line. She won consecutive bronze medals for the U20 National Team (2009 and 2010) having won Division B gold at U18 level. She could also possibly run the point for short spells if required. |
