Dairis Bertans scored 19 points and Janis Strelnieks and Lauris Blaus both collected double-doubles to give Latvia a crucial 81-77 victory over Italy in the qualifying round Group F of the U20 European Championship. Strelnieks had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Blaus collected 10 points and 12 rebounds for Latvia, who improved to 1-3 in the group. Kristers Zeidaks also scored 14 points in the victory. |
