Club Team 2012-13: TTT Riga (Latvia-LSBL) Career: RTU Merks Riga (Latvia-LSBL 2010-12), TTT Riga (Latvia-LSBL, 2012-13)
The standout player for Latvia at the U20 European Championship in Debrecen last year, Rozenberga is a hugely exciting prospect who hasn't opted for the college route and instead, stayed at home to hone her skills. Following on from her red-hot summer, last season's performances were incredible. She finished with a mammoth double-double season for TTT Riga, and whilst her effectiveness inside wasn't enough to help them take the Latvian Championship, her eye-catching displays mean she is potentially one of the emerging stars to watch in EuroBasket Women if she is given a debut at the senior level. She isn't the biggest forward around and sometimes finds herself handling the ball down the court because she reads the floor well. She can play with either hand effectively, has great anticipation, hustles for rebounds and is a natural scorer at the basket. She has been working with Coach Nerips who is also her club coach at TTT Riga. |
