After spending seven seasons with TTU, the 25-year-old Keedus finally made the jump to crosstown rivals Kalev/Cramo last season. Not a stand-out player at youth level, the forward made a name for himself as a reliable defender, regularly ranking among the KML league leaders in steals throughout his career. At his previous club, he often served as a secondary ball-handler, but was forced to abandon his role and play much more off the ball after moving up a level. The adjustment period proved difficult, with the player averaging only 4.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in his first season in the VTB League. However, coach Sokk decided to include the versatile forward in the national team's preliminary list regardless.
