Blazek Bemoans Poor Shooting At Charity Stripe

USK Praha coach Lubor Blazek blamed his side's poor free-throw shooting for their 74-71 defeat to Wisla Can-Pack in Krakow.

After seeing his side slip to 1-2 in EuroLeague Women Group B, Blazek insisted it was poor accuracy at the stripe (11 of 16, 68%) rather than bad luck which had cost the Czechs.

"I do not think we had bad luck today, somebody simply has to lose," he said.

"We played a good game and we were better at rebounds for sure.

"On the other hand, our percentage of free throws was low and we made many turnovers when we led the game."

Prague finished with 18 turnovers.

Having seen Candice Dupree hit two foul shots in the dying seconds to condemn the Czechs to defeat, Blazek said that was not the reason for the loss.

"We had couple of crisis when we were down seven points but we came back to the game," he said.

"We had to commit fouls at the end of the game and they converted them all."
