PLAYER HISTORY
Sandra Le Drean

Career: INSEP (France-NF1, 1992-1995), Aix (France-LFB, 1995-2000), Valenciennes (France-LFB, 2000-06), Prague (Czech Republic-1Liga, 2006-07)

Sandra Le Dréan is one of the best forwards in Europe. For France, she is the only player with the size to compete against the Russians or the Czechs. La Drean has tremendous experience at the highest European level and was a member of "Les filles en or" that won EuroBasket Women 2001. She was also a part of the Valenciennes team that dominated France and Europe a few years ago. The Rennes native is a great team player, and many think that she should step up and lead the team a little more. She has a great offensive all- around game. Le Dréan can shoot threes, post up against smaller defenders and is a great passer. She is a very balanced and educated woman who might lack a bit of the killer instinct and the aggressiveness to be a top competitor. The 30-year-old chose Prauge for her first experience abroad when she had the option of moving to some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
