The Czech Republic's EuroLeague Women sides faced little opposition on the domestic front this weekend as they cruised to victories.
Gambrinus Sika Brno, who reached the final of the EuroLeague last season and look to be serious title contenders this campaign, stormed out to a 26-12 first-quarter advantage in their derby with Valosun Brno and romped to a 125-40 victory.
Gambrinus are unbeaten in the EuroLeague with five wins and play at MKB Euroleasing Sopron this week.
Kara Trutnov were no match for USK Praha, who rolled to a 108-49 triumph.
Praha led 31-17 after the opening frame and then 65-27 at half-time.
They have now won eight of nine games in the Czech Republic, their only defeat coming against Gambrinus.
The EuroLeague has not been as kind to Praha, however, as they travel to USO Mondeville Basket on Wednesday with five defeats in as many games.
