Spartak Claim Narrow Win

Spartak Saint-Petersburg won their last game ahead of the EuroChallenge Final Four, beating Krasnye Krylia Samara 72-71.

The victory catapulted Spartak into first place in Russia's PBL.

Winning coach Zvi Sherf did not think his squad played that well, however.

"The only nice thing about today - it's a victory," Sherf said after.

"The game itself was poor. We have to play better.

"Now we return to St. Petersburg to analyze this game and understand what mistakes we should avoid in the games of the Final Four."
