Spartak St Petersburg have been rocked by an ankle injury to Stanislav Sotnikov that will sideline the forward for at least five games.

The setback, which is being reported on the club's official website, means Sotnikov will not be available for Spartak's crunch EuroCup game on Tuesday in Greece against Maroussi.

The Russian outfit will try to hit back from their 65-62 first-leg defeat last week at home.

Sotnikov, 20, played 17 minutes in the first leg.
