MBK Ruzomberok coach Stanislav Ondruska believes his side have one foot in the next round of the FIBA EuroCup Women after their 76-64 win away to Ukrainian outfit Kozacka-Zalk Zaporozie.
Playmaker guard Lindsay Wilson top-scored with 28 points and power forward Simona Pondesova poured in 18 while also grabbing 16 rebounds for MBK.
Slovakian side MBK are now top of Group E with a 3-0 record and have a strong chance of progressing into the Sixteenth-Finals of the competition.
"We travelled there to win and this result is really very important for us," said Ondruska.
"Kozacka-Zalk have a good name in Europe, they are a quality team and we have made an important step towards the next round of the competition.
"I am happy that our players are becoming more experienced with each game and they all played very well.
"I have to commend Felixova for her performance, because despite playing only three minutes of the first half, she has done a great job and helped the team."
The setback was the first for Kozacka-Zalk Zaporozie in the EuroCup Women.
