Team 2012-13: Good Angels Kosice (Slovak-Republic-Extraliga)
Career: Siemens Poprad (Slovakia-Extraliga, 2005-06), MBK Ruzomberok (Slovakia-Extraliga, 2007-09), Good Angels Kosice (Slovak Republic-Extraliga, 2009-13).
The small forward is one of the most versatile and resilient players in European basketball in terms of fitting seamlessly into a system and playing either a leading role or supporting role. For the national team, Kupcikova is a headline act, playing the most minutes at EuroBasket Women 2011 and the second most minutes last summer when she was top scorer. At club level, she has shown just how willing she is to put the team first by playing a primarily defensive role as a ‘glue' player to help take Good Angels Kosice to a historic EuroLeague Women semi-final. Ice cold on court and yet also aggressive when she needs to be, she has good fundamentals and offers quick hands and a great reading of the game which helps her take a number of priceless steals. She tends to drive or slash to the basket rather than shoot from the wing and is an all-round solid player who not only led in scoring en route to France, but also led in steals and blocked shots.
