Born to parents who both played the game, it was a natural step for Honti to go into basketball and perhaps not surprising she became an intelligent playmaker who is very much the heart and soul of the Hungary backcourt. She spent all of her early and mid-career playing with her hometown club and was famously a key component in the young Sopron team which unexpectedly reached the EuroLeague Women Final Four in 2009. Now approaching veteran status, she brings extensive experience from playing in EuroLeague Women and indeed winning the title at the first-ever Final Eight in 2012 with Ros Casares. Most recently she has been playing in Schio with distinction and winning silverware. Also an accomplished 3x3 player, the guard has a terrific skill-set and must utilise it, having handed out the most assists for her team at the Final Round six years ago.
