Ros Casares coach Manolo Real is focusing all his energy on their EuroLeague Women semi-final clash with Bourges, insisting he will only worry about their final opponents if and when they get that far.
Ros Casares take on French side Bourges in Russia on Friday, with the prize on offer to the Spanish giants being the chance to play in a EuroLeague Women final for the first time in their history.
If Ros Casares make it past Bourges then they will meet either hosts Spartak Moscow Region or their Russian rivals CSKA Volgaburmash in the title match, but Real is not letting that situation cloud his thoughts heading into their semi-final encounter.
"I am adopting the same tactics as in the Copa de la Reina, where I tried to forget about everything else and concentrate only on the following game.
"Therefore you do not run the risk of losing concentration," said Real, who guided Ros Casares to victory in the Copa de la Reina after having taken over the team in mid-season.
"Right now I am only concerned with Bourges. When I notice that I am thinking of things that to not have anything to do with the game, I quickly put on a video of Bourges," added the former Ros Casares youth coach.
"It is evident that the coaching team will analyse the two Russian teams in detail, but now we are only think about Bourges."
