Ros Casares are fulfilling their lofty aims both on and off the basketball court.

That is the opinion of general manager Carmen Lluveras.

The Liga Femenina leaders, this season's Copa De la Reina winners, are also in the quarter-finals of the EuroLeague Women after sweeping Wisla Can-Pack Krakow in the eighth-finals play-offs.

"I think there are still many happy times to enjoy this season."

"The team has been very competitive in the EuroLeague Women and I think with time, that sinks in on our opponents," said Lluveras, who joined the Valencian club one year ago.

"We haven't lost a game by more than an eight-point margin, which means we are always there.

"I think in Europe, we have taken a step forward and now we will see how far we can go."

Having a successful team depends largely, however, on the business of basketball.

"When I arrived at Valencia, we proposed to improve the structure of the club, having the best professionals in each sector and I believe the leap has been important.

"We have one of the best medical services, our marketing, administration departments are working at a great pace.

"Without a doubt, we are among the best European clubs in terms of organisation. Our next challenge is to improve the club grounds.

"I am satisfied with how things are going but there is always room for improvement and we have to continue on this path.

"We have to be better and set new goals in order not to fall behind."

What matters most to the fans, however, are the wins.

And those have been arriving with frequency, thanks to excellent play from leading players Delisha Milton and Elena Tornikidou, and Spanish international stars like Laia Palau, Elisa Aguilar and Noemi Jordana.

"The team is training well," Lluveras said in a statement issued by the team.

"Our coach, Manolo Real, has gotten a great sacrifice from the team and applied good working conditions, something basic in order to have options in tight games.

"I think there are still many happy times to enjoy this season.

"The players are helping us a lot to consolidate our project.

"Our fan following is growing just like our club is growing and that is important. Little by little, our fans are learning to enjoy this team."
