Spain: Ros Casares Put Away Estu

The EuroLeague Women's Spanish representatives Ros Casares were convincing winners this weekend over Adecco Estudiantes, keeping them at the top of the standings alongside Hondarribia - Irun with 10 triumphs in 12 games.

The Valencia team stormed out to a 28-19 advantage and stretched that to 46-35 by half-time.

Estu battled but were unable to chip away at the lead and they eventually fell 76-58.

Nicoles Antibe paced the Valencia team with 19 points.

Anna MontaƱana, the EuroLeague Women's Player of the Week after 26 points and 10 rebounds in a victory over Sparta Praha, had 12 points and three boards in this Spanish clash with Estu.

Ros Casares needed to win because Hondarribia also prevailed in their game against EBE Promociones-PDV Sta.Eulalia, 70-57.

Hondarribia trailed 32-28 at half-time but turned on the style in the third quarter, outscoring their opponents 23-11 and they pressed home the advantage in the fourth.
