USO Basket Mondeville made it two from two as they recorded an 81-67 win over managerless visitors Ros Casares on Wednesday in a EuroLeague Women clash.
Herve Coudray's side's star performer was Aurelie Bonnan with a points haul of 21, plus seven rebounds for good measure.

| She received admirable support from Emilija Podrug (13 points and eight rebounds) while Grace Daley (11) and Ivanka Matic (10) also made double-digit contributions.
The sacking of coach Israel Sanchis has clearly not yet had the desired effect on the Spanish club, who are now coached by Esteban Albert.
Outstanding in defeat was Alessandra Santos, who top scored for Ros Casares with 16 points but also hauled down 15 rebounds.
Elaine Powell contributed 14 points while Nicole Antibe managed 13. The game was already over as a contest at the end of the third quarter with Mondeville holding an impressive 66-44 lead and although the Spaniards won the final quarter, the French side's advantage was never in jeopardy.
The defeat sees Ros Casares slump to 0-2 following last week's 77-64 reverse at home to Hungarian outfit MiZo Pecs.
The sale of star player Amaya Valdemoro to World League winners and reigning EuroLeague champions Volgaburmash has not helped Ros Casares' cause this season. |
