Ros Casares have signed Brazil international Alessandra Santos.

The 200 cm centre, who averaged 12.6 points and 8.9 rebounds at the Olympics in Athens where Brazil lost to Russia in the bronze-medal game, has signed a one-year contract.

The arrival of the experienced 31-year-old is great news for coach Israel Sanchis, who will have a competitive side in the FIBA EuroLeague next season.

Casares have also extended the contracts of Spain internationals Elisa Aguilar and Noemi Jordana, while also bringing in the experience of France international Nicole Antibe and Spain international Ana Montanana.
